This past November marks 2 full years of operation here at Simmi’s Bakehouse. Our foray into the world of cookies started by pounding the pavement in our beloved neighborhood delivering samples door to door to gauge interest and appeal. From there we set up “shop” at the Parkland Farmers’ Market where we met so many of our amazing smart cookies. Parkland’s support and love for its homegrown small businesses is unmatched and unwavering. We are so incredibly lucky to be blessed with such a phenomenal community rooting for our success.

While we discontinued our attendance at the Market this past year, we fortunately received enough exposure to be able to maintain our business through local delivery and pickups. Each year we’ve been in business has come with enormous change and growth. We have high hopes that our third year will follow suit. You may have noticed reduced availability and hours on our website this month - we are currently reorganizing and working on establishing Florida-wide shipping. Updates will follow as we get closer to our first “drop”. We are incredibly excited about the prospect of servicing the entire state but will always have a special place in our heart for Parkland.
