Trick or Treat
When I was younger, candy wasn’t something that was regularly kept in the house (which as a mom myself - now makes perfect sense). My lack of candy access during the rest of the year made Halloween especially exciting. Trick or treating brought out all of my favorites - M&M’s, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups (and Pieces), and Kit-Kat to name a few. As I got older and trick or treating became a thing of the past, so too did eating candy.
When creating our October flavor(s), we toyed briefly with the idea of using pumpkin, but as I hate pumpkin (controversial I know) creating a cookie with that flavor profile didn’t seem possible. My chief taste tester and I turned to our mutual love and nostalgia of Halloween candy. Naturally, we wanted to stuff everything we loved into the cookie which is why we ultimately decided to make two. A perfect homage to trick or treat. We thought it would be a fun “trick” to have the M&M color match the Reese’s Pieces colors (yellow, brown, and orange). We’re so excited for you to try our newest treats and we hope you’ll let us know what you think! Our door is always open for “boo” - Welcome Home.
